Antibullying drama workshop linking with PSHE for year four, five and six children.
This topical drama workshop will educate young people well ahead of high school.
Using innovate drama forms such as role play and discussion we look at the core reasons for bullying, how to overcome it and to gain a clearer understanding.
This is a powerful workshop which should stay with the children long after the event and increase their awareness, as well as gaining some great team work skills and learning to respect each other.
Lesson includes warm up, freeze frames, discussion, role play and improvisation.

This drama workshop is designed to educate year two and three children about the dangers of bullying. It raises awareness in a safe and familiar environment through drama mediums such as discussion, role play and dressing up.
Lesson includes warm up, text work, reading, dressing up, role play, freeze frames, discussion and working as a team encouraging respect to peer group.

The purpose is for very young children to gain a gentle understanding about what bullying means and what they should do if they feel they are being treated this way.
Using a classic fairy tale and the use of toys we are able to convey this in an age appropriate fun and friendly way.
It is also important that small children understand the difference between a joke, or friendly teasing, and actual bullying.
